Trainings on "One Health" are being given in Southeast Asia
CFI is looking for a service supplier or providers who can create, deliver, and coach journalists in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and the Philippines on the "One Health" scientific approach. There are 4 lots in the Call:

Activity 1: face-to-face instruction for journalists on the scientific method known as "One Health"

When discussing subjects related to the "One Health" approach, it is crucial to consider the content and how this information is handled and viewed in order to reach the broadest audience possible. The recipients of the Service will receive training from the Service provider to help them comprehend this scientific method and better apply it to the way they handle information on health and the environment.
Activity 2: Ongoing Coaching and Support for the Creation of Media Content (Remote)
Forecasted dates: The coaching will begin with Activity 1 and continue through the end of November 2024, distributing the coaching days uniformly over this time. T
In addition to the training offered by the Service Provider, this coaching will offer remote educational support to help the journalists of the beneficiary media solidify the skills they have learned throughout the training sessions. They are also intended to inspire them to use their newly acquired abilities to create material on the "One health" themes and to share this content on social media.
The goal of the Media for One Health project is to increase public awareness of the "One Health" philosophy by educating and training local media journalists to fulfil their responsibility for public education and crisis prevention. Additionally, the media will be urged to foster a constructive and unifying dialogue by endorsing regional, global, and local adaption strategies.
The project's overall goal (GO) is to improve the media's knowledge and abilities in producing and disseminating content linked to the "One Health" concept in South Asian countries (Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines). By bringing together scientists, decision-makers, and civil society, media coverage of this strategy is anticipated to be a driving force in the prevention of infectious illnesses.
